CAFETERIA RULES
Lunch is a time to relax and display good social behavior in a pleasant
environment. Good manners are welcomed and should always be observed.
The rules of the cafeteria are as follows:
1. No cutting in line
2. Go through lunch line one person at a time
3. Follow all directions by the cafeteria monitors
4. Do not borrow or loan money
5. Talk in a quiet voice to persons at your table, and observe yellow light.
6. Remain in your seat until you are dismissed
7. Clean up your area before you return your tray
8. No food, ice cream, or other items are to be taken out of the cafeteria
9. Throwing or horse play with food will result in severe disciplinary action
MEDICATION POLICY
Prescott Central Middle School staff will dispense any and all medicine to
students during the school day. All medicine will be locked in the office
and dispensed from the office. Parents need to adhere to the following rules:
1. Parents MUST fill out the Putnam County School Board Medical Form.
2. The student's name must be taped to the ORIGINAL container and
    must be delivered to the school office by a parent or guardian.
3. Name of the medication must be identified on the container.
4. Time that the student takes the medication is identified on the container.
5. Dosage must be identified on the container.
6. Duration of time the student is to take the medication.
7. A signed statement by the parent or guardian must accompany the container.
8. Reason for taking the medication must be presented in documentation form.
9. Parents are responsible for picking up unused medication or it will be
    disposed of by PCMS administration.
10.Parents must pick up medication before 3:30 PM. All medication not
    picked up by the last day of school will be disposed of by administration.
LICE POLICY
Students found with lice or nits in hair will be sent home for treatment.
Students must be nit-free in order to return to school.
TELEPHONE POLICY
The office phone is used for school business and it may be used by
students only in cases of emergency and with the permission of the
homeroom teacher. Students cannot be called to the telephone.
Only urgent messages will be delivered.
FIRE DRILLS
Fire and safety drills are periodically held to teach the students the proper way to
leave the building or to find alternate exit routes in an emergency. Fire drill
instructions are posted in each classroom. Students are to quietly and quickly
follow all directions given by teachers or other school or fire department personnel.
